A Peals for Peace:
St. Stephen’s has joined places of worship across NC in ringing bells on Mondays from 6:00-6:15 p.m. as a simple “witness for peace”. Please join us in the church or on the grounds, and bring a friend! This will be happening weekly on Monday evenings through November 2nd. 9:15 a.m. The Open Circle Adult Forum in the Parlor

10:15 a.m. Nursery
Due to insufficient staff, nursery care will not be offered this coming Sunday, September 13th, but we do offer a nursery on most Sundays.
Upstairs in the Education Building
10:15 a.m. Godly Play (K-5th grade) during the school year.
Currently on Summer Break until October.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
St. Stephen’s will once again be participating in the year’s North Carolina Hot Sauce Festival right here in downtown Oxford on Saturday, September 12th. Please come by to view our quilt display in the sanctuary. We will be selling our famous hot dogs, fresh-made ribbon fries and cold drinks, and we will be raffling off a lap quilt and some other hand-made artisan items–and all but 10% of proceeds go right back into the community via our Outreach ministries. Indoor, air-conditioned seating and bathrooms are available in our Parish Hall. All are welcome! See separate page on this site for information about raffle items.
